Abstract submission – Information for authors

Abstract submission is now closed.

The conference organisers recognise that different delegates will need to fulfil different requirements for conference attendance. If you need to submit an extended abstract or paper in order to attend the conference, you will be given this option on notification of abstract acceptance. Please see post-notification instructions below.

Post notification

If successful, you will have the option of submitting an extended abstract/short paper. The extended abstract must not exceed 1,000 words excluding title, authors, affiliations, tables, figures and references. Authors will be encouraged to keep to a page limit of 5 pages.

Corrections or requests for clarification might be requested after submission of the extended abstract. The deadline for resubmission is 02 June 2017.

Please submit all final drafts, extended abstracts and full papers to ICFM7@leeds.ac.uk

All abstracts will be published in the conference booklet, which will be made available online.

Please note that early-bird registration closes on 19th June 2017.

Further instructions for oral presentations

Each abstract accepted for oral presentation will be assigned a 13 minute slot in the conference programme within an appropriately themed session. All presentations should be conducted in English and use PowerPoint software. Alternative presentation formats may be considered but please contact the conference secretariat to discuss feasibility.

We would like to make presentations available after the conference at the ICFM7 website. If you would prefer not to make your presentation available on the website, please notify the conference secretariat.

Further instructions for poster presentations

Each poster should be A0 portrait or A1 portrait/landscape, in English and using an appropriate font size.
